NYFS Leadership Luncheon
Northeast Youth and Family Services is having its annual Leadership Luncheon on Wednesday, May 6, 11:30 am-1:00 pm at the Vadnais Height Commons. Our club is a co-sponsor of the luncheon. Lunch is free; donations are welcome but not required. Our club has a long-standing relationship supporting NYFS, and this luncheon is an excellent opportunity to learn more about NYFS. Kids in Need Thanks a Million Event
Golden K members are encouraged to volunteer at Kids In Need Foundation’s Thanks a Million event for teachers on May 2. Around 1,000 teachers will each receive approximately $1,000 worth of school supplies for the coming school year or total of about $1 million. You can register at Thanks a Million. If you register let Jim Bowyer jimbowyer@comcast.net know so that he can keep track of Golden K volunteers.
