The July Board meeting will be on Tuesday, August 12th at 12:30 pm at the Skating Center. All Officers, Board members, and Committee chairs should attend. 

Volunteer Opportunities

School Supplies for KINF 
Join other Golden K Members to distribute school supplies to teachers at Kids In Need Foundation, 200 South Owasso Blvd E, Little Canada on Thursday, August 14th from 12 noon to 3:15 pm. Contact Dennis Govednik dgovednik@centurylink.net if you would like to participate. 

Thanks to Our Volunteers

Northeast Youth and Family Services Special Project 

Golden K Members visited NYFS on July 29 to the view results of our $6,100 donation to create a second child play therapy room and develop a community resource center. Thanks to Angela Lewis-Dmello, President and CEO, and her staff for providing an excellent overview of their programs. Golden K Members included Robert Allen, Steve Baird, Jim Bowyer, Keith Carlson, Max DeLong, Dennis Govednik, Norm Hanson, Jim Hedeen, Jin House, Bob King, Vance Morey, Patrick Repp, Steve Rudd, Bob Seavey, Bob Seybold, and Roger Williams. A special thanks to Bob Seybold for organizing the event.
