Northeast Metro Golden K Kiwanis Club, St. Paul
HomeAbout-Us Overview

Our Purpose

As part of Kiwanis International, an organization with over 447,000 members in 85 countries, we are a lively group of senior-aged men and women from throughout the Twin Cities northeast metro area. Founded in 1981, the Northeast Metro Golden K Club meets weekly to socialize, conduct Club business, and enjoy weekly presentations on various topics. We also focus on improving the lives of children and youth and benefiting the community at large.

Through various initiatives and ongoing work with many community organizations, we focus on efforts that make lasting differences in the lives of children and youth, and on community food support. We conduct fundraisers. We tutor students in local schools in reading and math. We annually award 5-6 scholarships to graduating seniors. And we frequently volunteer to assist a variety of youth and family-oriented organizations.

We meet in the Roseville Skating Center Banquet Facility, 2:00-3:30pm each Tuesday. These meetings are open to the public free of charge and all are welcome.

Please note that our club changed its name from North Suburban Golden K Kiwanis to Northeast Metro Golden K Kiwanis in 2023, in order to reflect an expansion to the area that we are serving. This video was produced prior to our name change so it reflects our old club name.
